Well hello there :)

Very soon we celebrate christmas and I can't belive it. I am very excited.

And then of course, there is the trip to NYC. I just love that city and am very positive to live there one day - haha big plans I know :) Everything was beautifully decorated for Christmas and walking through the streets in Soho, just a feeling you can't describe.

THANKSGIVING

Last week I could experience my first Thanksgiving and I must say, I love this holiday. We should defintily add this to our swiss archive of celebration days! In the afternoon, after we polished and decorated the house, family came over. Then we ate and ate and ate and of course talked and it was just lovely! The food was very yummy and I had my very first (whole) Turkey. 

Then at midnight we went of course to the famous black friday shopping. I have never seen such long lines to pay. But thankgood it has a bed-section in Kohl's (right Jessie :) ) But it was worth it, I found 2 seasons of Vampire Diaries for only 14 dollars each.

SIGN OF LIFE

Hi lovely
Okey, so there is no more excuse to put this off longer, I have just been to buisy and blogging takes obviously its time. Anyway here is what I have been upto the last couple weeks:

Mein zweiter High-School-Dance, ein Halloweendance, wir haben uns alle verkleidet, eigentlich wollte ich eine Sängerin aus den 20'er Jahren sein, habe aber so kurzfristig kein Kostüm gefunden, dann ists halt eine Wonderwoman geworden :) Der Tanz war gut, und viel mehr Spass als mein erster.

Und dann kam auch schon der 6. November und damit Election Day. Hier waren natürlich alle für Romney, und desshalb brachte der späte Abend seine Enttäuschung mit sich. Mir persönlich ist es nicht darauf angekommen, da ich von Politik nicht viel verstehe.
Aber das Spezielle am Tag war, dass Jessie ihren 15. Geburtstag gefeiert hat. Es haben ein paar Freunde von ihr bei übernachtet, hier sind allgemein "Sleep-overs" extrem im Trend. Am Tag sind wir dann Bowlen gegangen und ich habe alle geschlagen :) hahaha nicht wirklich. Am Abend sind wir in ein Chinesisches Restaurant gegangen und haben danach die Schokoladen-Truffes-Torte, welche ich Jessie zum Geburtstag geschenkt habe, gegessen und Geschenke geöffnet.

Samstag vor einer Woche sind wir Austauschschüler aus der Region alle zusammen nach Mebane in North Carolina shoppen gegangen. Es war sehr lustig, vorallem ist einer der Austauschschüler Schweizer, das hat gut getan wiedereinmal so richtig Schweizerdeutsch zu reden. Die Mall war ein bisschen entäuschend und ich habe dementsprechend nur Turnhosen gekauft. Was aber gut ist, da ich im Moment viel zu viel Kleider einkaufe. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Austauschschüler-Trip nach New York!

Heute haben Jessie und ich unseren Schrank aufgeräumt und alle Kleider die sie nicht braucht oder zu klein sind ausgemistet, waren ziemlich viele hahah :)
