LIFE LATELY

Hello everyone
So I finally managed to find some time to make a new post. Here so much is going on. So some pictures are a bit old, from my first weekend here, when we went to the country club to see the amazing fireworks to the celebration of my host-grand-aunt's birthday to some current pictures of a trip to charlottesville on saturday which was so much fun. So I'll let the pictures talk.
Jetzt noch ein kleiner Bericht für alle meine Leute zuhause, mir geht es gut. Ich bin dran mich einzuleben. Ich habe eine super Gastfamilie und auch in der Schule wird es immer besser. Gestern habe ich bei einer Schulkollegin mit 5 anderen übernachtet, wir sind zuerst ins Kino gegangen, Step Up zu schauen, so habe ich endlich auch erlebt, dass man in der USA für 2 Dollar einen Film schauen kann. Heute habe ich mit meiner Familie und Freunden geskyped. Und eine Welle Heimweh hat mich auch wiedereinmal erreicht. Es ist halt schon recht anders hier und sehr schwierig wenn man niemanden kennt sich ins Leben hier einzugfügen und man merkt erst jetzt was man eigentlich an seiner Familie und Freunden hat, wenn man auf sich alleine gestellt ist. Ich liebe euch! Aber genug mit dem, heute Abend kommen Verwandte vorbei, denn meine Gastgrossmutter hat am Dienstag Geburtstag.

NEW YORK PART III

So this is the last an final post from New York, I'm sorry guys that it's been so long but I've just been sooo buisy! On the last day, we walked around in New York, went to 5th Avenue, ate in Central Park and then enjoyed a more than lovely view from the Top Of The Rock. In the evening we went to Timessquare and then ate in the Forrest Gump Restaurant.
The next day was departure day and so my roommate had to get up at 3.30 am. to catch her bus to the airport and so I couldn't get back to sleep until 7 o'clock when my bus left. Then I had a more-and-less ok flight beside the toilet to Charlotte where I changed planes and then finally arrived in Lynchburg and met my awesome new family which I already love! Aber natürli liebich euch dihei gaaanz fescht! After I arrived, we went to Apple Bee's for Dinner and then I got to go to the lovely house John built himself! And now it has been two weeks and I'm slowly getting used to my big school, getting into Sorority club and having gotten to know all my family's thousand lovely relatives and met a US-Congressman!
