A LOVELY WEEKEND

Hello lovely :)
So here is a quick update about my last weekend. It was very buisy as always. As you might have noticed I am always very, very buisy. So on Friday night, there was a bonfire, my first bonfire. After me and Ashley spent the night at Olivia's and Casey came by. On Saturday Ashley, Olivia and I made crêpes out of the the new Issue of Donna Hay, oooh so delicious! Have missed crêpes! Then we went on a hike to the Devil's Marble Yard. And as paradox it might sound, I really missed hiking, I know dad, if you read this right now, you are gonna laugh so hard. Anyways after that we had a lovely cookout back at Olivia's house and then went to Maggie's for a sleepover. I got about 3 hours of sleep but I still made it horseback riding on Sunday afternoon. It was my first time and I had quite some respect from the horses but I absolutely loved it, thank you Heater and co.! So this has been about the programm for my weekend. Oh wait no, on Sunday evening I skyped with my lovely temporary-australian-friend, I love you Nina!
This week is almost over and that means my first-nine-week-term is over and that means about a 4th of my exchange year is already over and that freaks me out! Time flies over here, it really does.
But the good thing about this is, that we get Monday off and I can spend my three-day-weekend with my lovely hostfamily in Wiliamsburg and we are going to Bushgardens, an amusement park, so excited! Thank you!
Love y'all and have a great almost-weekend!

A COZY SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Hi lovely
So what to do when the leaves are turning outside and the temperatures are dropping? Exactly, cuddle up in your favorite sweater, make yourself a pot of coffee and just snuggle up. This is what I did last Sunday afternoon. Coffee, Cinnamonmuffin and Wish. The Wish magazine has reached me some days ago but I always wanted to save it for the perfect cozy oppertunity to read and it was totally worth saving. I love it. It is made with such carefullness and preciseness I just can say Hut Ab! I love all the little details, illustrations and pictures. And then if the day gets even better if you have such an awesome host-dad as I do who makes you a delicious egg-salad-sandwich.
Have a great week!

BLACKOUT & GIRLS NIGHT OUT

Hello everyone
I want to say hi out of the rainy, foggy Lynchburg. The good side of bad weather is that it gets really cozy inside. I am sitting on my sofa, drinking a Chai-Latte and listening to Benjamin Francis Leftwich (thanks Romea <3) and reading blogs. That reminded me that I haven't updated this in a while. So here are some pictures of my first High-School-Dance, a very overwhelming business but it was fun. The second part are from this Friday, Anna, Caroline, Casey, Olivia, Rachel and I went outside to take pictures. Since I am an enemy of flash I am not quite content with them but I my photography skills are not so developped that I would know to do it otherwise. So enjoy the load of pictures :)
