First of all, I hope Y'all had a beautiful Christmas.
It was my very first American Christmas and it was lovely.
On Christmas Eve, we went to my Aunt Lisa’s
house for the traditional dinner. I had helped her earlier in the day to
prepare the lamb. The dinner consisted out of lamb, rice and green beans and
was absolutely stunning. As dessert, Lisa made a chocolate pie which we ate
with peppermint ice cream. The combination of peppermint and chocolate has
always been a bit odd to me but now I actually like it. It was an wonderful
evening! Then we had to go home and go to bed since Santa comes and fills our
stocking.
